The reboot of
The Mummy franchise was recently announced and with Tom
Cruise at the helm. Cruise (
Mission: Impossible) will be replacing
Brendan Fraiser as the lead role and Arnold Vosloo (
G.I. Joe:
Retaliation) will be replaced by Sofia Bartella to play the Mummy. The
story will follow Cruise's character, Navy Seal Tyler Colt who is sent
on a mission to find a group of terrorists in the Iraqi desert.
Annabelle Wallis (Peaky Blinders), Jake Johnson (New Girl), and Marqan
Kenzari (upcoming Ben-Hur) are also listed on imDb.com as part of the
cast.
